Return and Refund Policy
At Inavarde Wines, your satisfaction is our priority. Since wine is a food product, special conditions apply to returns and refunds.
1. No General Right of Return for Change of Mind
Please note that under Swiss law, there is no statutory right of withdrawal or return for goods purchased online that are free of defects. The return of wine bottles in perfect condition, as well as opened bottles, is excluded for hygiene and quality reasons.
2. Damaged, Incorrect, or Defective Goods
If a wine is defective (e.g., a clear cork taste) or if the wine was damaged during transport, we will refund the purchase amount or send you a replacement.
- Deadline: Please report the defect to us within 14 days of receiving the goods by sending an email to info@inavarde.wine.
- Proof: In the event of transport damage, we request a photo of the damaged bottle. In the case of cork taint, we ask you to keep the bottle (including the original cork), as we may request its return for verification.
3. Return / Replacement Process
Before returning any items, you must contact us via email at info@inavarde.wine to discuss how to proceed. Unannounced returns cannot be processed.
Once your claim has been reviewed and approved, we will refund the purchase price to your original payment method or arrange for a replacement delivery. Refunds are usually processed within 7 to 10 working days.
4. Return Shipping Costs
In the case of incorrectly delivered or damaged goods, we will cover the return shipping costs. In all other cases (agreed upon as a gesture of goodwill), the return shipping costs must be borne by the buyer.
