Our Red Wines

Each year, the grapes that make it into our red wine are pre-sorted by hand.

How our natural red wines are made

All our red wines have one thing in common: we only use the finest grapes from our own organic vineyard in the Kindzmarauli micro-zone, which is one of the premier growing regions for Saperavi.

During fermentation, we ensure the process runs as cool as possible, as we are convinced this has a positive impact on the final result in the glass. In some years, it takes up to two months for the sugar to fully ferment.

To offer something for every palate, we produce different styles of Saperavi wines – full-bodied, rich wines with plenty of tannin, as well as easy-drinking wines where we reduce skin contact.

Why Natural Wine?

We view wine as a gift from nature – a product shaped by the soil, vegetation, sun, rain, and wind. Each year, these factors interact in new ways, consistently creating unique conditions that are beautifully reflected in our wines.

Our vines are healthy because we do not use any chemicals whatsoever, managing our vineyard 100% organically. Instead of relying on commercial yeasts, we use naturally occurring indigenous yeast cultures. Year after year, they bring fresh, unique notes to our wines.

In the cellar, we do not add any additives to our wines – not even sulfites. Furthermore, we rely on natural filtration by simply allowing the sediment to settle.
